Is there a way to have VoiceOver come through one ear of headphones while all of the rest of the computer sounds, such as a meeting or music, go through the other ear?

Hello Cowboy. Following are the two pieces of equipment I used, when working on the job

1. Plantronics Headset SMH1783-11
2. Vista Telephone Amplifier M22

The headset has a wire coming from both ear pieces. The lefthand wire has a standard telephone jack, which plugs into the amplifier and the amplifier plugs into the phone. The lefthand ear piece has an adjustable boom mic, which is incredibly clear.

The righthand ear piece has a standard 3.5 mm headset jack which plugs into the PC.

Both ear pieces are covered in a very comfortable foam material, which was quite durable and didn't hold in too much heat.

The amplifier has volume and mute controls. The volume adjusts the loudness of the client in the headset. The mute control allows you to mute the client.

When this setup is in place, I could get my client calls in the left ear, and JAWS, music, or PC sounds in the right ear. It's a perfect setup. I had full access to the PC and the client never knew I was using JAWS. Absolutely loved to work like this.

Note: Uncertain what options are out there now, as it's been a while since I worked on that job. If you are not successful in finding this combination of equipment, I highly recommend you contact Panisonic directly. Explain to them what you want. Advise them of this equipment listed above, and ask them what has replaced it. I have found that Panisonic customer reps are quite helpful. Just make certain you explain that you are blind, this some how triggers the customer reps to start thihnking in the right direction. LOL

That's not exactly what I was looking for but thank you. I was looking for a feature that would split voiceover to one side of the headset and all computer sounds to the other.

My apologies. I did misunderstand what you were looking for. Hoping you are able to find a workable solution for your situation.
