Speakers bluetooth or otherwise.

Hi all. I'm putting this here, though this had to do with both the Mac, and phone. To put it mildly, i don't like my Macbook rpo's laptop speakers. They are fine for voice over, but listening to a book, I have to jack up the volume so when a message or other interruption comes in, I get a heart attack. :) So what are your speaker recommendations? I don't need bluetooth, at the same time, I would take advantage of it if possible. My requirements are: if it costs over 200 there'd better be a great reason. even the Bose mini bluetooth, though it was on a video, I wasn't that impressed with it. I'm looking for enough base to shake the house, easy to set up or at least someone who has it can help me out. I'd like to put the speakers on my desk and maybe the sub underneath it. Keep in mind this is going to a Mac with only one line in port. Good luck. Thanks for reading.
