some questions about VO portable prefs

Hello all,

Is it just me, or do portable VO prefs not work in Yosemite? I was using another Mac on campus the other day and I plugged in my flash drive and told VO to use my portable preferences, but nothing changed even though VO utility said they were in use.

Also, there are two iMacs in my office at my internship which I can use. One is a late 2009 model still running snow leopard. I suspect they still have some old software they need to keep around so that's why it hasn't been updated. It works for what I need, though. The other one is even older, early 2008 running Mavericks, but it's painfully slow since it only has 2GB ram. Now I remember why I replaced my old MacBook with a Pro. lol

My VO prefs work wonderfully on both, but not in Yosemite. I thought about just making a new copy of my VO prefs from my MBP, but I don't want to have them not work on the iMacs at work since they're using older versions of VO, 3.5 on one and 6.0 on the other.

Of course, I would love to be able to just save all my stuff in Dropbox or iCloud drive and not have to cary my flash drive around since I don't always havv it when I need it. VO prefs in the cloud would be awesome.

You're voiceover preferences probably don't work in yosemite.
I could be wrong here but I think that is why there are not working in yosemite.
