Hi i just want to know does the mac automatically update to os maverick or do I have to do it manually because it doesn't say that there is a new software update

Hi. There are two ways of updating, Either install over the top of what you have now, or download the full version from the app store. I upgraded as is, but it still thinks I can download the full version. weird, but there you go. It's also free. :) and also if you have apps like Iwork, the upgrades are free otherwise it's a twenty spot per app.

You can just look at the featured category it should be right there. or type in m a v e r i c k s

Hi everyone. Just this morning I checked for updates by going to "About This Mac" and choosing the appropriate button. The system indicated that a Safari update was available, as well as a security update and some voice updates. I think the security update installed just fine but the others are stuck on 0%. I tried quitting and then restarting with no luck. I'm running OS X Yosemite.

I would wait. the voice updates are over 800 mb in size. So let it updte over night or update via the terminal.
