Skype 6.9 on the mac

Hi all! I recently installed skype 6.9 on my mac and it is taking about 30 seconds to load. It never did this prior to this install. Has anybody noticed this problem or is i wonder if its just something weird with my computer. Jim

Are you sure this is not a Mavericks problem? Ever since I upgraded, every program takes a while to load.

Hi. Yes i am running Mavericks but no other program takes anywhere near that long. I'm pretty convinced it is skype. Leave it to Microsoft to have a slower program :)
