Single User Mode with Voice Over?

Hello everyone!
I just wanted to ask if it is possible to use single user mode with voiceover on the mac. I am experiencing an issue where my admin account was turned into a standard account, and the only solution I have found involves logging into single user mode. So is it possible to use this mode with voice over? And if not, is there any other way to fix this issue. Thank you.

I think this depends on what model and generation Mac you have. On Macs that predate the T2 Security Chip, I don't think there's any audible feedback in Single User Mode. On Macs with the T2 Security Chip or Apple Silicon, my understanding is that the tasks you previously would perform in Single User Mode are now performed by running Terminal in macOS Recovery, which is accessible with VoiceOver.

ahh i see. Well thanks for the information. Luckily I was essentially able to do what I needed without going into single user mode. Actually i went a totally different direction instead anyway for simplicity's sake. But this is good information to have in future cases, so thank you.
