Seeking a guide for using iMovie with VoiceOver on the Mac

Hello Apple Vis,
Does anyone have a Podcast, link to an article, or informative guide over how to use iMovie with VoiceOver?
I have some videos on my iPhone and would like to upload to youtube after i do some work to the videos.

Here's the link to the first in a series of tutorials on Youtube. They got me from having literally no idea how to do anything in iMovie, to making a short compilation video for church with almost no sighted assistance. The one thing I did need help with, other than having someone confirm my titles and everything else looked right, was adjusting the volume on individual clips. For whatever reason, I couldn't use VO to adjust clip volume below 100% If anyone has any recommendations on how to do this, or if it can even be done, I would appreciate it, as that was the one thing I couldn't do on my own - I had to have my wife drag the slider down, then play, gauge the audio, tell her, "Ok, now try 67%" and on and on until I was happy. Very tedious.
