Seeking accessible vpn on Mac.

macOS and Mac Apps

Hello everyone. I am looking to put a vpn app on my two Macs that I can also use on my iOS devices. AdGuard VPN, the one that I have used on my iPhone for many years, is completely inaccessible on Mac. I am looking at Nord but any other vpn recommendation is appreciated. Nord appeals to me because of what I want out of a vpn but I don't want to renew my subscription only to have it not work. Can anyone verify if Nord is accessible and, if it isn't, recommend another vpn? Thanks so much in advance.

Hi,

I am using Nord VPN and at least on the Mac it is accessible. On Windows there is lots to be desired. For what I use it (Choosing a Country and connect to a VPN) everything is fine!

Hope that helps

Thanks Dennis. Thankfully I do not have to deal with Windows anymore. It's good to o that it is at least useable.

I have decided on Nord. Tunnel Bear is in a Five Eyes country so I do not trust it. I appreciate everyone's help on this.

Hi,
Is nord still accessible on mac? I'm looking into getting a VPN on my mac, but what else do I need? I live downstairs at my parents house, the router is upstairs. Do I need to fool with any router settings to put a VPN on my mac? Is there a guide to accessible VPN for dummies like me somewhere?

The Duck Duck Go Browser for macOS has a VPN built-in. You have to sign up for it on first launch, but it is like Be my AI in the Be My Eyes app. Once you have it, you have it. And it is (very) accessible.

Also free.

HTH. 😃
