running a mac on windows using vmware

Hello,

I'm trying to run a mac system inside windows using vmware work station, but I'm having a problem. I create the virtual machine with everything I want, but once powering on, thanks to Seeing AI and Aira, I apparently am stuck in the boot manager when attempting to boot from the mac iso immage. I've tried everything, modifying the .vmx file, with help from aira trying to reorder the boot order in bios on the virtual machine, even did countless research to try to get this thing up and running, but with no luck what so ever. This is honestly the first and only time I've ever seen this boot manager thing come up, because usually when I use virtual machines and boot from the ISO immages, they boot up right away and I can continue with the installations. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

That combination isn't supported.

Of course, that's not to say it's impossible. But VMware products on non-Apple host hardware and software do not normally boot macOS.

If you really want a Mac and you want it to work correctly, buy a Mac, preferably an M1 or newer one. When Apple says your hardware isn't supported, it actually means something unlike when Redmond tells you. I learned this the hard way after running Ventura on my 2013 Air and having a less than ideal experience. I suspect discussion like this is probably prohibited on this website and even if it wasn't, it's not worth it. Modern macOS will soon be compatible with ARM only, so unless you want to run older versions, it isn't a long-term solution.
