a replacement for TextExpander?

I use text expander to create forms that I auto fill out for my students' reports. I also use it to crect any spelling mistakes I might have. I don't liek the web site feel, and now the stupid menu comes up that I can't get rid of no matter how hard I try. Is there a replacement I can get that will allow me to create the same complex forms such as pop up boxes and edit fields I fill out and have pasted into a file? I'm running mac os 11.4.x. I did contact them about all of these issues, but they have not responded in about 6-8 months.

Hi!
YOU can up the python then the django. You can build any web app with a very complex but accessible form.
And it is accessible on mac and on windows.
I don't know if you will use this advice or not... It is your choice.
Cheers!

I actually want to create a form fo rwhich the answers of the drop downs are pasted into a text editor, or email. I also have text expander get my notes from the clipboard and auto paste the date of the lessons.

I don't know python and I don't know what jango is besides sounding like a game I used to play when I was young I would alwya also want to hit space and it fill in my text or form with what ever I had in an email. auto snoppets woudl also be nice.

I recently dropped my subscription to TextExpander due to an increasing number of minor accessibility niggles with managing and updating snippets.

As I have Keyboard Maestro I migrated my snippets to that.

It's not quite as powerful and flexible as TextExpander for text snippets, but is fine for my use case and was a cost-less migration due to already owning a license.

I wouldn't recommend Keyboard Maestro solely for text snippets, but then it is so, so much more than that.

Hi!
I would like to say any fish from ocean "make my wish real!"
And the code will be filled in automatically.
And taken from brains, too!
And I will become brain-coder!
Is it very difficult to type code?
Or copy-paste it?
But Okay ... It is your choice. Moreover, you're guru.
I am pupil coder in django.
I am playing in my sandbox.
smile.
Cheers! And best wishes!

again this is not what I want to do. I ahve forms I submit for student's reports. I also have clup board snopps I use for those reports to make typing less of a chore on my fingers. I don't really see what the point is in using this gingle thing when I don't think it will really help.

Thanks for the update, that will work, and it does, but the editing with the html editor is not fun. Electron sucks IMHO. How could it take them a year to work on something that might if I knew how to code take me 10 minutes to fix. I think who ever said they wer workign on it might have said that to make you shut up. Keep bugging them about it.

I'm bumping this up to the top as I have been googling but so far none allows me to wrote macros with dropdown boxes of stuff to pick from. I also have a snippet that will insert today's date in a certain form and another macro that will get my text from the clipboard and insert it into the field I'm typing in, all in one main piece of text that is due to be expanded. I'm quite surprised there is nothing out there comparable to text expander that will do this.
