Hello all. So I had to redo my bootcamp to install Mac OS 11.1 on this SSD internal and I'm putting windows back on. The problem is is that when I go to select an ISO, can I no longer select the size of my bootcamp disk anymore accessibly? If this is the case, apple needs to fix this. I se to be able to select my sise of my partition just fine but with this latest update, I can't and it's making me mad! If you all know of any work arounds behind all of this, feel free to let me know.
Thanks.

BootCamp on the MacBook Air
I was wondering if I could install Windows through BootCamp on a MacBook Air 2015 with 4 GB of Ram and a 128 GB SSD? Could I install it to an external drive?
Boot Camp
I've reported the issue to Apple Accessibility and would encourage everyone else to do the same. It's serious and silly issues like this that are driving me away from the Mac platform. I will not be purchasing a new Mac, so Big Sur is most likely my last version of macOS on this 2013 MacBook Air.
The answer to the question regarding installing Windows on a 2015 MacBook Air is yes. You can't install Windows to an external drive. You must partition the drive and install that way. The good news is that 2015 and newer Macs no longer require a USB flash drive to perform the install. All you need is an iso disk image of Windows which you can download directly from Microsoft. You'll still want a USB soundcard or headset connected to receive audio, but it should work. The system automatically downloads all the necessary drivers and prepares the install partition for you. All you have to do is select the partition size and hit install and everything else is taken care of.
Hopefully Apple will fix this ridiculous issue very soon. If this was impacting sighted users, it would not be acceptable and would be corrected immediately. I'm tired of being treated like a second class citizen when I spend the same amount of money on Apple products only to receive inferior access like this. I don't care if iOS is the dominant platform, Apple needs to fix these issues in macOS ASAP! I really wish Steve was still alive. The management at Apple is really awful now. Their idea of innovation is a silly touch strip on the MacBook Pro, animated emoji, a feature to remind you to wash your hands, and we can't forget the ridiculous AirPods Max for $550.
