Hey all, I have a quick question. I was able to get the iwork sweet with a former apple ID that I used when I first bought my mac wit hno cost. However, I had to create a new apple ID because I kinda broke the old one.Now I cannot seem to get the iwork sweet (pages, keynote and numbers) in the same way. Is there something i'm missing here? Like, do I need to reinstall OS X in order to get these apps in the same way that i did previously? Or would I have ot rebuy them? Please respond asap. Sincerely, Joseph King

Hi Joseph, My best advice is to try and recover the original Apple ID you had, rather than switching to a second account. If you recover your existing Apple ID, then you will be able to have access to all of the content you previously purchased and would not have to repurchase anything. If you live in the U.S. and are having an accessibility-related issue with Apple ID recovery, you could also try calling Apple Accessibility for over-the-phone assistance. The phone number is 877-204-3930.

Okay. how would I go about doing this? when I tried to change the it's email, I accidently put "[***]", so I was never able to verify it. that's a big, big problem.

Hello Joseph, Until the new email address is verified, I would think the old email address you have for the ID should still work to allow you into the account. Have you tried logging in with your old email address?

Yayayayayyy! There were able to reset it back to my life email using my credit card and and I'm now logged in. But every time I try to turn on icloud keychain, after I type in the verification code that gets sent to my phone, system prefrences gives me an error. is that normal?

Leave iCloud key chen along. I have never gotten that to work no matter what I did since the release of this feature. You are not doing anything wrong, it's just very much broken for me and some others.

good you got your apple id working. Now you can log in to applied.app.com and delete the new apple id you created.
