Or similar to iOS for image description in rotor.
Thanks

Hi,

If you want a simple, albeit basic, image recognizer, you can press Shift + VO + L to use the builtin Image Recognition software. it is rather basic, but works. Kinda. . .

If you want more advanced OCR then you will want to download VOCR.

Link with instructions below. 😀

I'm no tech scaredy cat. However I just absolutely can not install this damn add on. Hoping they come out with a self install soon. I don't admit defeat well, but yep. this one kicks me in the sweet spot every time I attempt it. :)

Disclaimer: The top 2 controls will require permissions. Just fyi.

## Shortcuts
* OCR Frontmost Window:
1. command+shift+control+w.
2. Recognize image under VoiceOver cursor: command+shift+control+v.
3. Toggle reset position after scan: command+shift+control+r.
4. Toggle positional audio feedback: command+shift+control+p.

The following shortcuts only work after a scan, I.E. on resulting content.

1. Move down/up: command+control+down/up arrow.
2. Move left/right: command+control+left/right arrow.
3. Previous/next character: command+shift+control+left/right arrow.
4. Go to top/bottom: command+control+page up/down.
5. Go to beginning/end horizontally: command+control+left/right arrow.
6. Exit navigation: escape.
7. Save the OCR result to file: command+shift+control+s.

Since there have been a number of posts about Chat GPT and Open AI, I figure I would mention here, that the latest VOCR beta has included these as well. Think Be my AI, but on your Mac. 😊
