I'm back with more questions, yay!
I'm mostly using Firefox, but I'm pretty sure this happens with Safari too. I'm on a site, say this one. I turn on quick nav and hit h to move by headings. I get to a link I want to open, say a forum, and I want to open that link in a new tab. No problem, I hit cmd-enter and I get a new tab.
But there is a problem, and here it is. Firefox doesn't seem to be on that link. What I mean is, if I hit tab, it starts from the top of the site, and I have to tab to the link. Then if I hit cmd-enter, I get a new tab.
I have cursor tracking on with VO-shift F3. To be clear, the only reason I'm tabbing is because that seems to be the only way to get Firefox or VO or whatever on to the link so the new tab command will work. On Windows, moving by headings would just let me open the link in a new tab. Not to compare, I'm trying to learn Mac here, it's just that's the behavior I'd expect and what I'm trying to get, if that's possible. If not, is there an easier way than tabbing? I mean, it's pretty quick actually, but there's got to be something I'm missing.

This happens on chromium as…
This happens on chromium as well. Basically so far only safari will sync both cursors and yet there are lots of issues there like open in new tab rarely working when you do vo cmd l or h for example at least there you can press right arrow so the cursor moves to the first character and then hit cmd enter. Report for firefox I've done that for safari and chrome.
