Hello all,
I am going to be going to Best buy later today to get a copy of Windows to put on my Mac with bootcamp. Can I purchase the version of Windows that comes on a flash drive or do I need to get the DVD version and a Super drive so I can install it? Also is there a guide on how to install windows via bootcamp for Voiceover users?

Using a flash drive
You don't need to use the DVD version of an installer. You can purchase windows on a flash drive and choose the file that comes on the jump drive. However, you need to make sure that it is an ISO file in order for it to work with Boot Camp.
Depends What Mac You Have
If you have a Mac Book Pro from 2015, you don't need a DVD. You can either install it from a flash drive or from a ,.iso file downloaded from Microsoft's website. You can do that by yuorslf, or have someone at the Aple Stoer help yuo. I had the Apple Store Boot Camp my Mac for me.
USB bersion of Windows10 question
Hello,
I now have purchased a copy of Windows 10 on a USB flash drive. If I am reading the guides correctly, when I go to use boot camp it will erase the flash drive and copy the boot camp drivers and Windows on to it to create a bootable flash drive? I do have an ISO of Windows10 in my downloads folder on my Mac. I have the latest 13.3 Macbook air that I recently purchased.

Installing from USB
Though I've never installed from a USB drive myself, I'd imagine it works much the same as with a CD. Connect the drive when needed, and Windows 10 should be installed on the partition the assistant just made for you. In fact, you mentioned you have an ISO in the downloads folder already? You might not even need to use the USB drive. Note this doesn't mean you won't need a product key to activate windows.
As for speech during installation, it wasn't available last few times I tried it with 7 and 8.1, but this could be different with 10 now.
Bootcamp with windows 10, with build 2004, which is immanent.
hello all,
2016 macs fall into the 'newer' mac catagory, thus, a flash drive will not work to install Windows. the bootcamp assistant creates temperary partitions for the bootcamp support software, thus, you won't even get the option for a flash drive. Apple does not say much about the differences between installing bootcamp on 2015 macs and later. they just say to get an ISO file but their is no reference to the temperary partitions in the Bootcamp help files. I found out about that from another AppleVis post. nowadays, Windows 10 2004 is immanent, meaning that you'll have to update sooon after Bootcamp is set up. Narrator has some really neet features, but I'm not sure if the talking installation and setup has been updated since its indrouction in build 1903. the problem with it is it uses two different voices. the Zera voice for the innitial installation before the first restart, and the David voice for everything else. it would be far less confusing for new windows 10 users if one voice was used. it's not really a showstopper for seasoned users though. Narrator works with the bootcamp support software installation. it tells the progress of each driver installation within the bootcamp support software instlation. the only downside to using bootcamp is, that graphics drivers will need to be updated for windows 10, 2004. I am a windows insider in the fast ring and an update wouldn't install unless the graphics were updated. this process takes lots of time. as most mac graphics cards are Intell, download the intel support assistant. this tool will scan your hardware, and tell you what spasific drivers to install. the download and installation are completely accessible. it took six manual restarts and six installations to get the drivers installed. an updated audio driver is also installed with the graphics drivers.
