Hi. On windows I use an app called C Cleaner to delete unneeded files and fix registry errors. Does the Mac need cleaning like Windows does or not? If it does, what is a cleaner that I can use that is accessible? Thank you.

I use clean my mac2. It's accessible, powerful, and only about $39 I think. I can't remember as I upgraded 2 years ago to it. The developer is receptive to comments and fixes stuff with in a few weeks. All you do is hit enter on the first button which is automatic I think. Then wait, then hit enter to clean. Everything can be accessed via the menus and Its over all very very good.

I also use and love this app. It even offers a full app uninstaller which will remove apps entirely and more thoroughly from your system. I believe this is as closest to c cleaner for the mac as you can get. I believe there is also a eraser as well for perminant deletion.

Ther eis. I have used that to. I'm having issues with my trash so have been using the eraser until I can restart my computer which might not be until tomorrow.

Take care.
