Hi, you need to insert a picture from the background tab. They are all labeled I suggest the black background. IMovie needs to know what to put on the screen while your music is playing. The problem with that and VoiceOver is that iMovie is visual in that it wants you to drag a side of the picture left or right to make it shorter or longer on the movie timeline.If you didn't adjust the length, the video that you want to start a after the music has started will might either start too early or too late. I'm not near my computer but if you can interact with something like right handle and then somehow maybe use your arrow keys to move it left or right that might work. If not I suggest doing the project on iOS if you have it because then you can double tap and drag the length of the background to adjust exactly when the video you want starts playing
