Problems Navigating to Windows in VMWare Fusion

Hello all!

I am running Mojave on an iMacPro. I just installed VMWare Fusion 11 and I created a virtual machine. I tried to use a USB key to install Windows, but Fusion wouldn't recognize the flash drive as a startup disk. So I had to use a DVD. The operating system is installed, and JAWS is up and running. However, I am running into some difficulty. I can go into Fusion and see the virtual machine I have created. I can start the machine, and I can hear JAWS In the background. But I can't seem to navigate from the Fusion screen into Windows itself without the benefit of sighted assistance. I have tried turning off Voiceover, then using Command-Control-f to set Windows to full screen, but I can't navigate to Windows. Is there something I am missing? What is the secret to navigating from the Fusion screen into Windows so I can log in? Once I am in Windows, everything works quite well, with a few idiosyncrasies, but getting there is a problem. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

One possibility that comes to mind is that there might be a dialog in the way, such as a registration screen or update alert. Have you tried checking the window chooser?

In my experience, I can open Fusion and click the, "Startup," button in the toolbar and Windows starts, at which point I disable Voiceover. However, I don't use full screen mode.

Thank you Tyler for your help. I tried one extra keystroke once I got into Fusion with JAWS running. After I disabled Voiceover, I pressed Option Tab, Mac equivalent of Alt-Tab when running Windows, and voila! Up came the Windows screen. I have found that I have to wait until JAWS comes up for this to work, perhaps for obvious reasons, but hey! It works. I must admit, though, that I am puzzled as to why Fusion wouldn't let me install Windows 10 from a USB key. Perhaps Fusion didn't like my non-powered UsB C to UsB 3 hub. Either way, I can now get Windows to work, all be it sometimes with a little fiddling. Thanks for your help.
