Problem Selecting Metadata Headings in iTunes 12

Hi All,

I am having difficulty selecting the types of metadata I would like to appear in the list view of iTunes 12.
I have chosen to view my music in a list, and I would like to add the Album Title to the categories of metadata displayed, but I am unable to do so.

Does anyone have any ideas regarding changing the headings displayed while in the list view?
I am able to access the column browser, but this isn't what I would like to use, and I can't find anything useful in View Options.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,

Niall

I was just doing this yesterday, so I know how to do it with VoiceOver.

First, select view options. This will bring up a popover from which the options you want will be accessed.

Within the popover, you will find a popup button called sort by. Immediately after this is another popup button, which does not have a clear VoiceOver label. Open this second popup menu.

You will now have a menu of all of the kinds of metadata iTunes allows you to create columns for. Checked items are already being shown. Select an item to toggle the check mark, either showing or hiding the column.

The popup menu closes each time you make a selection, so you need to select the popup button again to make additional changes. Also, some categories, like playback statistics, are in submenus when unchecked but are moved to the primary menu when they are checked, so don't be surprised if items end up in different places as you make changes.

When you're finished, hit the escape key to dismiss the popover.

Hi Dvdmth,

Thank you so much for your reply.
I can honestly say I would never had figured that out.
Your step by step instructions were very helpful.

Thanks again,
