Hello folks, I have been enjoying using my Mac so far. However, today I encountered a problem that is quite vexing. I am unable to copy files from my mac to my Free Agent external drive. Also the files that have been deleted from the drive does not show up in the trash but they show up in the recycle bin when plugged into a WIndows PC. Is there something I can do to et my drive back into working order? Thanks so much for the help.

Hello! You can not write information to a drive formatted for windows from a mac. If you want to write to this drive, you must reformat it to a type of partition compatible with the mac. Note: you can read things from that drive on your mac. I.E music. Good luck and let me know if you have other questions!

Can you please give me instructions on how to do this? I can copy things from the drive to my Mac without a problem. I believe it is formated in fat32. All of my other devices including my Book Sense are transferring files perfectly accept for this drive.

I would find out what your book sence is formatted as and then reformat the drive that same way. If you can't figure that out, look up on google what way a mac drive should be formatted as. Good luck!
