please confirm finder bug fix

in the first release of mavericks, finder has problem dealing with folders contain large number of files, has it been fixed in the latest version (10.9.1)? please post your finding. i know the infinite loop issue in safari has been fixed, thank god! took them more than two months to do that, i was getting more upset every passing day. the released safari 6.1 for mountain lion which had the same issue, i assume they did the same for mavericks.

Actually I almost never had

Actually I almost never had the problem with mavericks and the finder going busy in the large 500 item folder I have, it actually for now seems a bit faster. And as for safari I never noticed anything broken. at least in the how to guide I produced. Take care and hope that sort of helps.

> Actually I almost never had the problem with mavericks and the finder going busy in the large 500 item folder I have . . . i was afraid to hear that. this is a nasty bug for those who care about it, but not on most people's radar screen, that means it may never get fixed. and i can confirm it is not fixed, fortunately, i have the magic of timemachine. so for those who stay with ML because of this bug but are itching to try again, don't bother.
