Hi!
Before updating to Mavericks, I'm used to just hit up-arrow key when on an icon on the dock that I wish to remove. I tried it now, and the option to Remove from dock is gone. Only options to open at start-up or show in finder.
I understand that the sighted way of removing icons from the dock, is to drag the icon up and out of the dock with the mouse, and then hold it there until it vanishes in a cloud of smoke. So I tried to have a sighted friend do that, but the icons can't be moved, seems like they're stuck...
Funny thing is, when I log into another user acount, everything's normal again, and the Remove from dock option in a dock icon's sub menu is now there again... Only on my main user acount is this choice missing... So I've tried to delete the com.apple.dock.plist file in my user/library folder and then rebooting, but still no luck...
Any ideas? This is a mystery to me... Just keep scratching my head and can't find any solution to this wierd behaviour...
Any help would be highlly appreciated! :)
