There is a long-standing issue on MacOS in which the old NumPad commander (or whatever they're calling it since the keyboard shortcut revamp) becomes disabled while VoiceOver is in a password field. In other words, assume you have NumPad 6 configured as VO+right arrow. Navigate to a password field, enter your password, and press NumPad 6. The expected behavior is that you would navigate out of the field. The actual behavior is that another character is entered into the password field, presumably the numeral 6.
What's the status of this issue? I don't see it listed on the AppleVis bug tracker, which I find surprising. Does anyone have an open feedback report on this? Is it present in the current MacOS beta?

A question
Does Num-Lock affect this in any way? Genuinely asking here.
Alternatively
Does escaping out of the text field have any effect?
Present in Tahoe
This is still present in Tahoe. I reported the problem and will continue to track it as new betas are released.
Thanks Chris
I'll also report it on the Sequoia release. It's long past time for this issue to be resolved.
