I just purchased a Mac mini 2 Pro with logo K380 keyboard and logo wireless mouse. While the mouse, which has a dongle, pairs with the computer I’ve been unable to pair the keyboard; therefore, in setting up the M2, I can’t get past the step of entering the Wi-Fi password. I suspect I’m doing / not doing something fundamental. Would appreciate practical advice.

Have you tried connecting the keyboard by cable to do the pairing?
Charge or check batteries
If the keyboard charges, ensure that it has enough power. If it takes actual batteries, make sure there is not a tab in the battery compartment keeping the batteries from draining while packaged.
