new user to garage band

Hi,
I'm a new user to the Mac in general as well as GarageBand. About the only thing that I've been able to do through interacting with various things is changing an instrument on a midi track. I was doing Google searches to try and find some tutorials, but the site that supposedly had them showed they were coming soon, and hadn't been updated since 2010. Are there any audio tutorials here, or guides that I can go by?
