Hello everyone. I've been experiencing a rather odd problem in iTunes on my Mac Book Air, and wondered if this is happening to anyone else. I recently moved an entire album to the trash that I downloaded for free from another website. I of course listened to it the whole way through, and loved it. But I hit Command-Delete to move it to the Trash, and then Command-Shift-Delete to empty the trash. However, the music from that album is still playing immediately following any podcasts or other audio that I download and listen to. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so what did you do for a solution?

Deleting from iTunes
First, open iTunes and select Music from the sources table. When browsing through your collection, you should find the songs from the album you want to get rid of. Select the songs, then press Option + Delete. Note that I said Option, not Command, with this keystroke. iTunes will ask if you want to keep the files or move them to the trash. Select move to trash, and they will be gone from your library. Next, switch to the Finder and press Command + Shift + Delete to empty the trash.
Deleting the files in the Finder will not remove them from your iTunes library, because iTunes copies the files to its own library folder when you add them. For this reason, you must use the iTunes app to get rid of the songs.
