I get this all the time and it is really annoying. The only suggestion I have is to try the web version. It's slightly better in Chromium browsers. I tend to keep Edge around just for this reason.
It's not without its problems, but focus stealing isn't one of them.
contact Microsoft and leave Feedback. Specifically contact Microsoft accessibility. No oneβs gonna give you an answer on this website for that kind of bug.
