When I updated to Big Sur a majority of my messages in my messaging app disappeared. They still are on my phone and watch but not on the computer. All of the correct boxes appear to be checked in preferences. Before I contact apple I wanted to see if any of you have ideas?

For me, all the messages appear to be there after upgrading, the interface seems to be slightly different as now there are collections instead of tables to interact with, but it seems to be as accessible as before Big Sur
