MacBook Air 2017 erase and restore question

I just erased my MacBook Air 2017 and it’s now reinstalling macOS but
My school installed the device management software onto my computer
The disc has been erased but will fragments still remain in the reinstallation process that might block the continuation of the reinstallation that my MacBook useless

Does the management configuration include any firmware-level restrictions?

If you erase the entire disk and install a fresh copy of macOS, you should be fine, unless macOS downloads management information automatically. I don't know how Apple's MDM tools work. If this is your machine, ask the school to remove it from their system. If it's from the school, why are you tampering with school property?
