Hi everyone. I hope you’re all enjoying The new software that has just been released today for Apple devices. My question is, I’ve just installed 1 of the new Siri voices, and I’d like to use that one instead of the original voice. How do I stop my Mac from using two voices at a time? thank you very much for your help in advance

I am getting so dang sick of this! I'm seeing the same thing with my brand new macbook air 2020 m1 cilicon 13 inch system which I've just updated to 11.3. OK, admittedly, the bug of not being able to speed up or down the siri voices is gone, which is awesome, but the issue where in 11.2.3 where randomly, you'd get 2 instances of your voice speaking at the same time hasn't been fixed. In fact, it's gotten way way way way way way way way way way way worse. It's at a point now where Voiceover is almost totally useless for me on the mac. Worse still, I am being very careful when typing and very deliberate, when typing, yet, this darn thing is still randomly typing things I'm not even closely typing myself. It's randomly putting typos all over the place. If Apple can't get this crap together, then bye bye mac book air. I'm not gonna keep supporting spending over a thousand dollars for them to just continue breaking things. You would have thought they'd of fixed things at least significantly, but the fact they broke the siri voices further, and now, even with text auto correct disabled, and text completion etc disabled, it's still randomly typing gobbly gook, that's enough to make me say, forget it if this doesn't get fixed.
