Hi all. I am in need of a bit of help. I am able to hook up my small I believe it's a 13 or 15 inch flat screen TV to my Mac Mini via an HDMI kable. I am able to hear sound and sighted indeviduals are able to see the computer screen as well. But, when I try to use the volume keys on my Logitek K760 BT keyboard with the f11 and f12 keys my mom tells me that a (NO) symble comes up on the screen. It is like a circle with a slash through it. Is there any way anyone could help me to fix this. The tv is all the way across the room and I don't wanna have to keep getting up to change the volume, as I don't have a remote for the tv right now. I know I put a lot in to this and hope it makes since. Lol. Thanks a lot for all your help in advance. Take care all.

Hi,
This is not possible since F11 and F12 control the volume of the internal sound card and since your HDMI shows up as another sound card, you need to control the volume on that device.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it is the same if you connect an external sound card, which is technically what you're doing.
Hope this helps.

aah, thx for that. I didn't realize that. I appreciate your help. Well, looks like I'll need to run to the store on the first and pick up a universal remote. Thanks again.
