I installed the Device Support Update on my Mac Mini today.
In some prior Mac release, an issue prevented me from syncing my iPhone over wi-fi. I'm pleased to report this issue is now resolved.
The install was quick and painless, as if select libraries were patched. No reboot was required.

That was short-lived
Apparently, sync over wi-fi only worked once for me after this update. It has returned to being broken. I get a dialog box telling me:
"The iPhone PaulsIPhone” could not be synced because the sync session failed to start."
Sync using a lightning-to-usb cable still works fine.
