List box pop-up pop-up menu

Does anyone know how to open a List box pop-up pop-up menu. This is a drop-down menu where you type in some value & a load of options (versions of what you typed) open up: typically a search box. Visually there's a little arrow next to the edit box, & a sighted person will just click or hover-over that arrow, then slide down the list to the value they want. Typically this appears in Safari, e.g. in a search on twitter; but I've also seen it as the date picker in Zoom. According to Apple's own documentation you can activate a List box pop-up pop-up menu with VO+space or with quick-nav using the arrow keys. Neither works. It's driving me mad.

I've wondered the same thing. I think it's just rather quirky. I've gotten it to work only some of the time. I think I'm going to copy/paste this into a message to Apple Accessibility and see what happens.

Hi Ekaj,
You mentioned messaging Apple Accessibility - how do you do that? I did have a look on the Apple > Access > Contact Us site yesterday but didn't see any way to send them a msg. Please advise.
+ thanks for picking up this issue. Cheersio

accessibility@apple.com try doing screen recordings if you can. Or better yet, if you have an apple store or best buy, go show them. You can get sighted proof of the issue and maybe something can be done. I personally never use accessibility owing to the fact they just give a form letter.

Oh yes, I've got that now. It's Accessibility@Apple.com. Thanks. I'll email them too, about List Box Pop-up Pop-up Menus. I wonder whether it'll do any good ...
