Hi all. A new version of the accessible Second Life client Radegast is available. To read the details click here:

If you want to help with this project, the developer Cinder Roxley is always looking for people to help. You will find info on the Radegast website listed above.

You must be eighteen years old to access all areas of Second Life. To register for Second Life, please visit:

A detailed help guide is available on the Radegast website, but new users are encouraged to recieve training from an experienced Radegast trainer.

Please submit any bug reports on the Radegast website. These reports elp us improve Radegast. And again, we encourage developers to get involved!

Hi so I think I have the new version in the latest one and I was logged in for a bit and was able to get on and then one day I tried to login and it won’t let me it keeps giving me an error opening the login server connection an error occurred while sending the request so I’m not sure what’s going on and I was trying to see if there was any issues like this that existed on the Radegast website and I only found like maybe one or two that said you couldn’t login and I commented on one of those but it says that my comment is still awaiting moderator approval so I don’t know what else to do LOL

Hi. I have had this problem too, but usually when my internet goes out. Make sure your internet is connected and keep trying.

There is also a new IOS client in development called Meta Chat. It shows promise but needs all of us to take the time to contact its developer to demonstrate interest.

I already know about the new medachat client but at this moment it does not work very well and I don’t know how much help I can be to the developers to make it work better since I’m still trying to learn sl also my Internet does work great because everything else on my Internet works and I’ve tried about 10 times or more to login so I’m very confused LOL

Last time I tried to install this it wouldn't open on my Mac. Is there something I need to do in order to make this happen? I think this client would be really good for me and I registered over at Second Life but haven't been back there lately. Thanks.

There have been updates to both the windows and mac versions. I would try now. Also, contact the dev of Meta Chat. It is a good client and just needs a little tweaking to be a fully useable viewer.

Hi,
I tried installing this a couple of years ago, and it wouldn't install or open. Could someone please post detailed instructions to how I install this to my Mac? I'm so confused!
