just a few questions

Hey guys, I got a mac a few months ago and am loving it. However, there's a few things that I don't get and I can't figure out:
1. In mail, I have my account set up properly. I have the review pain off and all that, the problem now is that all my mail is being grouped by the sender. I would like to change it so I can just see the next message that has been sent to me instead of having to go through all my emails from a particular person first.
2. just a quick keystroke question: Is there a way to turn VO hints off on the fly? I've been having to deal with a lot of tables lately and have found the best way to copy out a cell is to hit vo c to copy the last thing said. So, if I don't do it exactly right the VO hint gets copied instead. which leads me to my next question.
3. Is there an easy way to copy out information from tables on webpages or is that one of the funky things about VO on the mac?
I'm sure I have a few other questions but these are the main ones that I'm trying to figure out right now.
