Hey everyone,
I hope you're all doing well. I just wanted to touch base with our little tech-savvy community here, and I've got a macOS Sonomo 14.1 quirk to share that's been bugging me.
So, you know how some peeps like using the caps lock key as the VoiceOver modifier? Well, I happen to be one of them. Ever since I updated to macOS Sonomo 14.1, it's been acting up. In the good ol' days, you'd double-tap the caps lock for its regular function. But now, it's decided to get a little rebellious. When I use it for VoiceOver commands, it not only does the VoiceOver thing but also flips the caps lock state, causing me to SHOUT UNINTENTIONALLY in all caps. Not cool, right?
I'm wondering if any of you awesome folks out there are sailing in the same boat. Has anyone else experienced this weird behavior after updating to Sonomo 14.1? If you have, I'd love to hear about your experiences and, if possible, any clever workarounds you might have discovered.
Maybe there's a simple fix or a hidden setting we can adjust to make our VoiceOver modifier play nice again. Let's brainstorm together and make our macOS experience smoother. Your insights are always appreciated!
Looking forward to our tech-savvy minds coming to the rescue! 😄
Cheers, Sadik

Yes...
I have had to edit a post or 2 due to posting in all caps inadvertently. My thoughts are that the Caps-lock key is a little sensitive in 14.x, for whatever reason...
Have yet to find a solution, though I am leaning towards looking for a means of disabling the Caps-lock function of the key. If that makes sense...
