I've noticed this bug .. 10 minutes ago and it makes me absolutely crazy. Latest version of macos, etc, etc... With the electron app of whatsapp on macos, it does not seem possible to read what we type at all in the message edit field anymore. I can still hear what I type first, but impossible to navigate within the text afterwards and we can only read the full text by focusing voiceover on the edit field again. Even when interacting at the lowest level in the field and using vo arrows and shift arrows the actual keyboard does not move. Basically to properly edit a message you must have textedit or similar open and then copy paste on whatsapp. I know for sure that this was not there before. Am I the only one experiencing this?

Is this the one you download…
Is this the one you download from the app store? There was an older version, I think, that seemed to have more accessibility in general, moving through conversations, but had this behaviour, unable to read input, much like subject lines on here with safari on mac.
It’s not only in watsapp
I’v experienced it even when i search something on google.
I thing it’s a general problem
