So yesterday my friend sent me a zoom link.
Since I don’t like using zoom on mobile, I copied the link and sent it over to my email address which had my MacBook attached to it.
This is a MacBook Air, 2017.
But to be completely honest, my Apple ID also has other iPhones, an iPad and another MacBook attached.
Okay, so, I open the link on my Mac, and I allowed to do it thing.
Okay so now I’m in a meeting.
Yeah okay.
But nobody can hemi.
I can hear them, but they can’t hear me.
What?
Okay, so I got the link around in the settings, there’s an onion my mike option.
But it needs to access the microphone, so I need to go to system settings preferences.
Okay, so now I’m in the privacy and security, and I alarm zone to have full microphone access.
Okay, that’s perfectly fine.
I click close and reopen, basically restart the app.
I’m back in the meeting, was that supposed to happen? So I try again, try to unmute my mic.
Again need me to go to system preferences, even though I’ve already ticked the box.
Okay, what the heck is going on, I do it’s over and over and over again, but still it doesn’t work.
Weird!
Right, whatever,, maybe it’s an issue with the speakers
So I plug in my headphones
No dice.
What’s going on, why is this happening to me?

A possible solution
A possible solution is, in system preferences near the tick box for allowing access to the microphone. There is a button saying click the lock to prevent further changes. If you press that it should save and then you can close it hopefully that would work. Otherwise, not sure what is going on
