In the past, using a Windows PC, the dialog boxes and windows made a sound when they would open. For instance, if there was an error, the dialog box would make a nasty little "bonk" sound. My Mac doesn't do this. Is there a way for dialog boxes and windows to make a little noise when they open (and close)?
Note: I have a substantial amount of useful vision, so I'm not ready to go with full-on VoiceOver.

install Bootcamp drivers
make sure your Bootcamp drivers are installed and up-to-date. the Bootcamp assistant should do this automatically install them, but updates are installed through Apple Software Update from within Windows.
My PC
I know this is off-topic, but sometimes the Windows event sounds on my PC stop working. I have to restart it to get sounds back.
Do you guys know what might be causing this?
