The default voiceover keyboard command for spell current word is VO+ww.
How do I change it to be left-option+o ?

and the default keyboard command for spell current character is VO+cc.
How do I change it to be left-option+p ?

First, I'd strongly recommend reading our guide to VoiceOver's commanders. Then, in your Keyboard Commander, simply set the key you want, vo-right, and choose the command you want from the menus. Remember that those menus are filtering, so if you start typing "spell", you'll narrow the options to just those containing the word "spell", for instance.

Thank you for the explanation. I managed to make the keyboard command changes I was hoping for! At least I made the changes on my MAC, Next need to make them on the iPad. I trust the same method works on all IOS voiceover devices...?

Thanks again!
