Help, iTunes is constantly prompting me to enter my Apple ID password

every time I go to I tunes on the Mac it says it wants me to re enter my pass word for my app le id.is there a way I can get rid of the 2 factor offentacation
no, once it's turned on its on for good. I wish you could get rid of it, apple did a stupid thing for not letting you get rid of that once it's turned on.
I use two factor authentication, and iTunes does not keep asking for my password. It usually only asks when I go to make a purchase, or if I recently changed something about my account, but it’s not constantly asking.
If you’re still having iTunes ask for your password every time you open the app, I would consider signing out and signing back in, to see if that fixes the issue. Again, this has nothing to do with two factor.
