Hi.
I'm having no end of issues adding songs from my music collection to playlists in the Music App in Catalina using Voiceover.
With iTunes it was as straightforward as arrowing across to the search box, typing in my search and then hitting down arrow to jump to the results table.
Then VO plus shift plus M to bring up the context menu to add to the playlist of my choice.
Now in the Music App, navigating to the search results is a long winded mindfield of moving in and out of tables, pressing buttons to open more options and a confusing mix of lists and results that almost makes no logical sense.
It makes adding songs to playlists about 5 times longer than before, so I'm wondering if there are any tips or tricks that people use to compile playlists.
Note that these are all my offline personal mp3's and I've disabled online searching of Apple Music as that was making things even more confusing trying to access my own personal songs.
Any help greatly appreciated as I'm a DJ that regularly creates long playlists and time is money!!

Searching
It sounds like you are using the search field at the top of the sidebar. Try using the filter field from the view menu instead.
Two other options to find songs are the column browser and smart playlists.
Thanks for the feedback.
What I have been doing is to use Command plus F to access the search field, can you give me some more detailed instructions on how to use the other options you mention?
I'm not that proficient in using voiceover, so step by step instructions are welcomed.
Two options
Command-shift-f brings up the filter search field.
Command-b will show the column browser when the songs item in the sidebar is selected. You can navigate the browser with the arrows.
use the Voiceover movement commands (control-option-arrows). to move around the screen.
