Hi,
I'm totally blind and rely solely on voice over to use my macbook air. I'm attempting to sign up to an online training course but all the e-lessons are done in flash. Currently i can't seem to get voice over to work with it, does anyone know if it is possible?
Thanks
Lora

Unfortunately, I do not
Unfortunately, I do not believe Flash is accessible with Voiceover.
Careful With Flash!
Hey! Just thought I'd let you know that I caught some pretty nasty malware by installing a fake Flash update a while back" I think it's been patched, but better safe than sorry! :) As far as accessibility, some Flash content works for me, and some doesn't... It really depends on the website I think.
flash accessibility
Flash has been largely problematic as far as accessibility is concerned for quite some time. Many web sites have moved away from using flash, but some still exist. Sadly, it may not be a site that is accessible no matter what screen reader you use. As an alternative, I sometimes use Google Chrome when I can't get something to work in Safari. It's worth trying another browser, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.
Deleting Flash?
I also have a question along the same lines. How can Adobe Flash Player be safely removed? I installed it awhile back, but it is only appearing in my System Prefs as one of the options. I'm probably not going to remove it right away, but how would I go about doing that? I will also ask elsewhere, as it seems a certain unnamed user has somehow blocked people from replying to me on here. But anyway, any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Adobe Flash Player Install Manager
In the Utilities folder, there should be an app called Adobe Flash Player Install Manager. Open this and press the tab key. There should be two options, quit and uninstall. Press space on uninstall and type your password. That should do it.
