Hi. It's a long procees due the important size of the downloading pakage. Progress indicator is not updated while installing, so just be patient and let it do... Hope this helps.

Hi, has anyone already installed the new version of Garageband successfully and could comment on accessibility? Some posts below someone commented about broken things in the new version so people using VO might want to skip this update? TIA, Roland

Hi there. I have succesfully installed and I am using it. There are minor accessibility problems in new version, as I posted here: http://www.applevis.com/forum/os-x-mac-app-discussion/lets-discus-new-garage-band But it's ussable in the most part with workarounds. Anyways, the new version don't replace the old one, after installing you still have the old version in a folder plaaced inside the applications main folder. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the hint regarding the old version. Well, the things you report sound rather substantial to me. If you are no longer able to navigate through tracks and positions with the arrow keys, what is the work-arround for that, also, how can effects be added if this does not work with VO the usual way? TIA, Roland

Hi. Well, I'm just experimenting with this new thing... I noticed that, although voiceover doesn't anounce the selected track, up and down arrows change the active track. So, you can figure which track is selected playing some keys on a connected midi device or remembering the order. Navigating the song is more complex, cause the only way I found to know both the cursor position and change it is interacting with the lcd group and adjusting the regulator, no shortkeys at all... I haven o idea about how to add effects. Acording to the help, it can be done into something called "smarth controls", but I haven't tried yet. Hope someone could help us a little... Ah, and excuse my poor english again.

Hi. Has anyone written apple access about these issues? Flooding them about it would be counterproductive I guess, so figured I'd ask here before I did so. Malthe
