Further Mac Sequoia Issues

Good morning everyone, As a previous post I sent, I'd purchased a new M4 Mac Mini during the holidays and have come across some new oddities that I'm trying to troubleshoot and thought of asking the group here.

1) While in a Facetime call, when there are several participants, their voices are spread around me, and although this can be useful for some, this annoys the heck out of me.

I've Googled to see if I can find a solution but can't find anything that helps. I know that there are controls at the very top of the Facetime call window, that one can expand, but when I press VO+Space, nothing expands. I've tried opening the Control Center but can't seem to figure out how to disable this 3D sound mode. For reference, I'm running the latest version of Sequoia, as of today, and using a wired gaming headset plugged into the front jack.

2) I've also taken the liberty of configuring my main email in the Mac Mail app, but when interacting with the folder list, my iCloud account appears first, then my main email address. I'd like it to reorder my main email so it's listed before my iCloud account. Again, I've Googled this to see if I can find a solution, but nothing seems to work.

I'm sure there's probably a simple solution for either of these issues, something that my brain just hasn't thought of, but since I came back to Mac OS after a 3 year hiatus, trying to refresh my memory on things I haven't done in years is proving to be a little more challenging. I would appreciate any assistance anyone can provide.

Thanks!

For your Facetime call, are you using AirPods? If so, you can disable spatial audio in System Settings. Select your airPods from the massive table on the left, and shange the setting in the scroll area on the right.

Spatial audio for FaceTime also works on wired headphones.
When on a FaceTime call, in control center, find the volume slider, open the action menu, and select show details.
You will see a list of all possible audio outputs, and below that controls for spatial audio. You can turn it off if it is something You don’t like.

So I've managed to get to that point, but when I navigate past the list of outputs, there's nothing else.

I may try it with my AirPods Pro, but I was using a wired gaming headset, and like the previous individual mentioned, you can have spatial audio on wired headphones too.

So after searching for a long bloody time, I found the keyboard shortcut that does a mouse click and hold (VO+Command+Shift+Spacebar) an item, you then move to the location where you want to drop it and press the same keys again to release the mouse click.

I tried it and it worked well enough that I got the accounts reordered the way I wanted them to.

I also tried doing another Facetime call, this time with my AirPods and not my wired headset, and the Spatial Audio featured appeared when viewing more details on the volume slider in the Control Center, and turned it off. Now let's just hope that that last one did the trick.

Drag and drop works well for moving as well.
Respect but none of these are sequoia issues, and they are not issues (for once, I know it's rare but) they are features. All of this was the same on sonoma and ventura as far as I know.
Don't hesitate please to go through the bug reports and especially the threads for the beta versions, you'll thank us after. Like being stuck somewhere between the dock and an opened app, or unable to get out of vo help mode if you have arrow key quick nav on without trackpad or a brute change of focus/context. ... Or voiceover being voiceover.

Have you tried to drag a book out of the Books window to your desktop? What's supposed to happen is that the book is exported as a file and lands on your desktop. But I'll be darned if I can get it to work, with any drag-'n'-drop commands.

I'm not really saying that it's only in Sequoia, it's just been over 3 years since the last time I used a Mac, so recalling keyboard shortcuts or even how to configure certain things on the Mac can be tricky.
