Firefox style Address bar Search in Safari

So Firefox has this great feature where you can set custom search Keywords for different searches. For example if i go to YouTube and right click on the search bar, one of the options will be 'Add Keyword for this Search.'
If for example i set the keyword as "you", then next time i want to search for a YouTube video, i can simply go to the address bar and type in 'You" followed by the search term.

Is there any such feature or extension that will allow me to achieve the same functionality in Safari?

I know we can add searches to Safari, however that requires us to select the Search Engine or Website from a dropdown list. I am looking for something where i can just type directly into the address bar and not have to go through the extra step of selecting from a dropdown menu.

I've been wanting this for years. There is no way to do this. I've sent feedback to apple about this for the 5 years I'e been using a mac. No one seems to know what I'm talking about. Glad I'm not the only one who has been wanting this feature

Yes, so far Firefox is the only browser i have found that seems to have this functionality, and since it is such a key feature and massive time saver for me, it has stopped me from switching over to other browsers like Chrome or Safari.
