fill out a pdf forum on mac

Hello all:
i got 2 pdf forums whicch i should fill to send them to someone.
i opened the pdf with hte preview app, but can not write anything.
i opened it on safari but same result, except that with sited assistance i can type what i need.
so, is there an accessible way to fill out pdf forums on mac? or even on IOS of mac is not possible?

The native Acrobat Reader is better at this than Preview. Once the PDF is tagged properly, there should not be an issue.

thanks so much for your reply , but can i use just the reader version or i should subscribe or purchase the adobe full version etc?

You can just use Adobe acrobat Reader to fill out a form—no special paid version is necessary.

I got the app, and can not fill the forum at all

It is likely the PDF is not tagged correctly if at all. While a sighted user can see to click into the form fields and fill them out, someone must tag the PDF correctly so it is keyboard accessible and that all form fields work as expected. You will likely need to go back to the source of the PDF and tell them their file is not accessible.
