Hello to all. I need to extract the ringtones off of my iPhone 6 64 gig device, as I forgot that when I redid my library my ringtones would disappear. Is there a way to do this on the mac/ I tried iPhone backup extractor but could not find the m4r files anywhere. iexplorer no longer works, and phone disk has ben deprecated. iMazing works but I get the names apple assigns to the ringtones not what I called them and 'm not transferring the names from the database file as I can't remember what they all were. Is there any way to do this?
Thanks

jailbreak
I believe you will have to jailbreak your device and then go hunting around in the file system for the files. Have fun doing that! Apple assigns a bunch of seemingly random numbers and letters to files you sync with iTunes. Why can't it be simple like Android where you just put your files in a folder called ringtones on your internal memory? *sigh*
Bleh. There used to be a way
Bleh. There used to be a way to do it but I believe apple deprecated the softwares I used to view them in iexplorer, however that no longer works.
Try an iTunes alternative
Hey, have you tried the free trial of AnyTrans? It is an iTunes alternative that manages music, ringtones, videos, photos and more on iPhone. So you can transfer ringtones from iPhone to iTunes, to PC, to Mac, and vice versa.
