Edit:
After relaunching iTunes, for some reason it works. Weird. Thanks again! :)
Hi all,
I'm running into an interesting problem when I'm searching for more obscure music on the Mac with Apple Music. When I type in a song or artist, I get a popover. VO right-arrowing twice gets me to the search table, and in this table I generally only see two options: search apple music for (song or artist name) or suggestions--usually none. I feel like there should be a way to select the "search for" option, but VO space on it completely exits me out of the popover. These are obscure songs, but I know Apple music has them as I have successfully searched for and found them using my iPhone. Can anyone give me some directions?
Thanks,
Megan

Press enter on the field
When you do a search, type in whatever you're looking for, and ignore the popover. Press enter when you're done typing, then jump to the bottom of the window with vo-function-right (vo-end if your keyboard has an 'end' key). Interact with the HTML content there, and you should find the results of your search.
Thanks so much!
Thanks so much! That definitely wasn't obvious. :)
Wait, not quite done yet
So it turns out that I'm not getting an HTML content of any kind. I've got my radio button set to search Apple Music. Command F takes me to the search box and I type in what I'm looking for. I've also tried this with some really well-known songs, but VO end does not take me to an HTML content. Instead, it takes me to the "iTunes Store" radio button. got any other suggestions?
Thanks so much for your time and help!
Megan
2 ways to Mouse click
Using a mouse click has been working for me. After you type in the search and VO space on the Apple Music radio button, move over to the table of results. Interact with it. The top item should be Search Apple Music for. When voiceover focus is on it, press VO, Command and F5 to move the mouse cursor to it. Then press VO, Shift and space to click on it. After that, you can use VO, shift and End to get to the Apple Music HTML content.
Alternatively, instead of moving the mouse focus with VO, Command and F5, you can use VO, Command, Shift and spacebar twice on Search Apple Music for... This will yield the same result.
