Dictation with Mac

Hello, I was wondering if any of you guys have experience this with using dictation in the latest version of Mac OS. When you dictate, everything seems to be working fine for a reasonable amount of time, and then all of a sudden, everything just goes crazy.
I was writing an email the other day, or I guess I should say, dictating an email to my Mac.
It didn't seem to be having any problems, and then all of a sudden, when I went to read the email, it was written as if I had written the words multiple times. I mean hundreds of times.
It was like it'd been pasted and copied and pasted hundreds of times. I have never seen anything like this happen before. Four instance the sentence the red brown fox jumped over the lazy dog. This sentence was pasted about 200 times on itself. It was like dictation have totally gone crazy. I had enabled the enhanced dictation, but since have turned it off. Do you know if that huge file gets erased when you uncheck that box? I was wondering if maybe that is when it started happening. Any thoughts?
